The schedule of the day saw the departure of the FISPES athletes from 09:15, followed by the nine waves dedicated to the other athletes of the Half Marathon. A scenic start near the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, then the long trail of runners crossed the iconic Fiorano Track and the historic Ferrari Factory, open to the public for the first time, thanks to the presence of Ferrari as Hosting Partner of the initiative. The race then continued through the beauties of the Municipality of Formigine with its medieval Castle until arriving in Modena for the final kilometers of the Half Marathon of Italy. A route that enhanced the entire territory of the municipalities involved.

The event leaves a tangible legacy to the local community, in support of inclusion and sportsmanship. In fact, Through the proceeds from registrations and contributions of partners, the initiative will allow the creation of a new multi-sport field in the Maranello Sports Park. The innovative modular approach of the field will allow the surface and the necessary structures – from nets to baskets – to be adapted from time to time to the preferred sport: volleyball, basketball, five-a-side football, but also sitting volley and baskin, disciplines accessible to users with motor disabilities. The multi-purpose field will also be open to schools for educational and training initiatives that promote respect and inclusion through sport.
