FAQ HALF MARATHON

How can I register for the Half Marathon?

When and where can I collect my race bib and race kit?

The race bib and race kit can be collected at the Running Show, set up in front of the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Via Alfredo Dino Ferrari, on the following days and times:

Friday, March 27 (from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM)
Saturday, March 28 (from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM).

There will be no early shipping or collection of the bib and kit on the morning of March 29, 2026, the day of the half marathon. The race bib is strictly personal, must not be altered or reduced in any way, and if equipped with a timing chip (which must not be tampered with), it must be attached using the appropriate pins.

If I'm unable to collect my bib and race kit in person, can I delegate someone else?

Race bibs and kits can also be collected by third parties, provided they present a signed authorization form from the participant and a valid ID of the delegate. The person collecting must also present the athlete’s valid medical certificate to ensure all documents are in order.

Where will the start and finish be?

The start of the Mezza Maratona d’Italia – Memorial Enzo Ferrari 2026 is scheduled for 9:30 AM from Via Alfredo Dino Ferrari in front of the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. The finish line will be in Modena at Piazza Roma.

After crossing the finish line, athletes will be directed through designated corridors to receive their participation medal, access the final refreshment area, and other post-race services.

Where is the most convenient place to stay?

Participants are advised to stay in Maranello or Modena, the two cities directly connected by the Half Marathon route. Both offer a variety of accommodation options and are well organized to welcome runners and their companions. Additionally, a shuttle service will be available before and after the race to facilitate transfers between the start and finish areas.

If I arrive from abroad, which airport is most convenient?

The recommended airport for international arrivals is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), located about 33–45 km from Maranello and Modena, with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes by car.

From Bologna, transfers to Maranello and Modena are very convenient thanks to the bus and train network.

Alternatively, you can consider Parma Airport (PMF), which is smaller but located at a short distance (about 55–60 km) and is a good option if you have a direct flight.

Is there a shuttle service?

A paid shuttle service will be available for booking: from Modena to Maranello (pre-race) and from Maranello to Modena (post-race). Details and booking times will be communicated via email to all participants.

Is there parking available for those driving to Maranello?

A paid service will be available to reserve a parking spot. Details and booking times will be communicated via email to all participants.

Is there a bag storage and transport service for after the race?

Along with the race bib, an adhesive label (showing your race number) will be provided and must be placed on the bag supplied by the organization. Bags must be delivered to the start area by 8:30 AM and will be transported and stored until the finish area.

This will be the only bag accepted by the organization. Bags must be properly closed and must not contain valuables. The bag storage and transport service will be guaranteed until 1:00 PM at the finish area in Modena. Bags must be delivered and collected within the indicated times.

It is recommended not to leave personal items (phone, wallet, etc.) inside the bags. While the organization will take the utmost care in storing the bags, it will not be responsible for any theft or tampering.

Is there a maximum time limit to complete the race?

The time limit to complete the half marathon is 3h00′. There will also be two intermediate checkpoints:

at km 10 after 1h30′ of race (around 11:00 AM)
at km 21 after 3h00′ of race (around 12:30 PM).

Athletes who do not respect the checkpoint times will be asked by staff to board the collection vehicle and will be taken to the finish area. The organization reserves the right to modify checkpoint times in case of special needs along the route.

These measures are necessary to ensure the safety of athletes. After the indicated times, the route will no longer be monitored and will be reopened to normal traffic.

Will there be pacemakers to help achieve the desired time?

The organization will provide free pacemaker groups (“rabbits”) for runners who wish to maintain a steady pace and finish the race within a set time.

Pacemakers will be recognizable by their clothing and marked with balloons for the following times:

2h24′- 2h12′- 1h59′- 1h50′- 1h45′- 1h37′- 1h30′

Note: Times refer to the moment the start line is crossed until the finish line.

Will there be refreshment and sponge stations?

As per WA/FIDAL regulations, refreshment stations will be available at the finish line and every 5 kilometers along the route.

Is there a medical service?

The medical service is designed to provide timely and qualified assistance to any runner who may need it. There will be an advanced medical station (PMA) a few dozen meters after the finish line, as well as fixed and mobile medical stations (ambulances and medical cars) approximately every 4 km along the route.

What should I do if I want to withdraw?

Athletes who decide to abandon the race can board the “sweep bus” following the race to reach the next collection point. From there, they will be transported to the finish area where they can access the bag deposit.

Can I participate with animals?

It is not allowed to participate in the race with animals.

If I cannot participate, is there a refund?

Participation fees are non-refundable and cannot be postponed to the following year.

I can no longer participate, can I transfer my registration to another person?

Transfers are allowed only until March 2, 2026. To make the transfer, a processing fee of €10.99 must be paid. To transfer the registration to another participant, you must follow the procedure described under “TRANSFER REGISTRATION” in the reserved area of the official website. This process takes into account the original participant’s data and previous payments. After March 2, 2026, it will no longer be possible to request a transfer or postpone the registration to 2027.

The registration fee does not include the cost of additional services.

Is there a maximum time limit to complete the race?

The time limit to complete the 5 Km Family Run – Memorial Enzo Ferrari 2026 is 75 minutes.
Athletes who do not respect the time limit will be asked to continue running on the sidewalk and comply with traffic regulations.
These measures are necessary to ensure the safety of athletes. After the indicated times, the route will be progressively reopened to traffic based on authorizations issued by local authorities.

Are there discounts for minors?

Yes, all information regarding registration fees can be found in the relevant section of the regulations.

Until when can I register?

Online registrations will remain open until 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, or until reaching 4,696 participants.

How much does registration cost?

€8.99 per participant for individual registrations (adults and children).
€8.49 per participant for group registrations (3 or more people, adults and children).
From January 1 to February 28, 2026
